November 7, 2014 02:21 PM
At their 2014 Supplier Conference, Philips presented Grayhill their award for Strategic Collaboration. Grayhill was selected amongst many suppliers in recognition of the collaborative effort between engineers at both companies to develop intuitive human interface solutions for various imaging applications.
In particular, Philips praised Grayhill for delivering market-ready solutions within a very short time period. One project involved 7 different assemblies for control of a CT Scanner, including the bedside and control room interface. These sealed assemblies included keypads and LCDs in housings designed to withstand rigorous disinfection. Another project involved creation of an X-ray head controller. This controller featured integrated pushbuttons, LED indicators as well as handles and an Angle Meter to help the technician properly position the X-ray head.
Grayhill President, Brian May and Asia Regional Manager, Eric Jao were in attendance to accept the award on behalf of the many people that worked to earn it.
