Two Popular Pushbuttons Now Sealed

The 30 Series is an above-panel mounted SPST momentary contact pushbutton switch with a half-inch diameter actuator in an integral decorative housing. The switches have tactile feedback at the point of contact so that the operator knows that contact has been made. The new versions, 30-2xx, have a threaded housing that adapts to varying panel thicknesses. They are available with a silicone boot that wraps over the top forming a single-surface IP67 seal when compressed against the panel under the rim of the switch. They can also be sealed to IP67 without the boot as a custom switch. The switches are currently available with six different color actuators inside of the black outer housing. The switches are ideal for operator interface applications where different color switches are required in one panel. The silicone rubber seal underneath the actuator makes them well suited for use in demanding environments where the switch would be exposed to high humidity and/or dust and sand.
The 39 Series is a PC mounted SPST momentary contact miniature pushbutton switch with a tenth-inch diameter actuator. The new versions, 39-138, feature internal and external o-rings to seal the panel and button openings and protect the switch contacts from moisture and other contaminants. It is ideal for small hand held applications that require low contact resistance, long life, and exposure to extreme environments. Versions of this switch are being used in commercial and military applications in the most demanding applications and environments. It is also available as a custom with a larger diameter cap that can be snapped on after assembly in the panel.
